During week 2, the hardware team focused on developing the C code for the ESP32 modules, enabling the transmitters to broadcast Wi-Fi signals and the receivers to detect them effectively. The team collectively engaged in discussions to determine the most efficient approach for implementing the tomography algorithm, which will be used to visualise and present the collected data.

The software team concentrated on developing the data collection code, which captures and stores the (x, y) coordinates along with the corresponding RSSI values into a CSV file for later use in tomography. They began drafting the initial version of the MATLAB data plotting code, focusing on both its structural design and intended functionality. The team outlined how the code should be organised and defined the visual representation of the output, including the layout of the floor plan display and the axis configuration for plotting RSSI values.
